METHODS & tools
-
In order to meet the challenges and new tasks for our future and the future of our children, we need the right tools. It is not enough to handle material resources with care or to advance technical development and digitization.

-
We need additional tools that expand our cognitive abilities and lure our minds out of their comfort zones. We need new tools for our decision-making, communication structure and interaction with one another.

The most important method, however, is and remains very simple:

(ACTIVE) LISTENING !

Listen to this TED Talk from my colleague William Ury,
co-founder of the Havard concept:

In order to be able to use our human resources more sensibly in this global world, the desire for more participation and empowerment is of course growing. This development increases our chance for innovation.
At the same time, it increases friction and thus naturally the potential for conflict. Without the right tools, however, the hidden treasures of our resources cannot always be recovered.

Communication structures, workplace organization, negotiation style and decision-making processes stand in the way. They lead to misunderstandings, disputes, or legal proceedings. Processes feel dusty or bumpy. Development is blocked.

It doesn't have to be like this - choose the right tools .....!
